The craft

For over a hundred and fourty unbroken years we have been making customized shoes for customers who appreciate classic design, comfort and the inimitable charm of handcrafted products.

Since our workshop was founded, all of the tasks involved in carrying out an order have been performed exclusively by hand. We don’t use any machines to substitute for the work of shoemakers. We still rely on artistry that hearkens back to unique, 19th century Warsaw craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation. Our shoes are made using traditional methods from natural leathers produced in the best tanneries in the world. The multitude of processes that they undergo makes each pair truly unique.

We specialize in elegant shoes that are formal in style, but we also offer weekend models for golfing or horseback riding. I encourage you to browse our company’s gallery of shoes as a good place to see what we are capable of. The models represent both timeless, classic lines and completely new and unique designs.

I invite you to visit our salon and workshop at Chmielna Street 6, where you will be able to find out exactly what goes into the traditional shoemaking process, and our foreman will be able to take measurements of both of your feet. The individual styling of each pair of shoes is entirely up to the customer, so we listen carefully to all of their requests concerning how the finished product should look.

In addition to shoes, we also offer leather accessories such as purses, wallets, belts and all other kinds of leather products. In the Malton & Kielman workshop, we not only produce limited lines of products, but also realize individual orders that serve as the perfect addition to a private wardrobe.
